    Dear {Insert Client Name}

    In recent years there has been a rise in the number of people considering the environmental, social and ethical impact of their investments. You will have no doubt seen media coverage on this and it may be something that you have thought about.

    We’ve taken steps to make sure we are at the forefront of this changing attitude which can impact how your investments are managed.

    As such, as part of our ongoing reviews, I’d like to invite you to complete a Sustainable Investing profile, where we can define your Sustainable Investing parameters, assess your existing investment portfolio to identify any conflicts and discuss if we should make any changes.

    It may be that we take no action as a result of completing this assessment but at a minimum, we think that defining your Sustainable Investing parameters and reviewing your current investments will give you a new level of knowledge and awareness on how well your investment align, not only to your investment goals but your personal sustainable values as well.

    I look forward to hearing from you,

    Kind regards

    For clients you know who are already interested

    Dear {Insert Client Name}

    We have spoken in the past about your desire to make sure your investments are aligned to your Environmental, Social and Ethical values. I’m excited to let you know that we’ve recently introduced a new capability into our financial planning process which will help you achieve this.

    Using new software from Oko Adviser, we’re one of the first advisory firms to be able to offer the ability to accurately and assess your Sustainable Investing values.

    So as part of our ongoing reviews, I thought you would be interested in completing your Sustainable Investing profile. Doing so means we will be able to define your Sustainable Investing parameters and assess your existing investment portfolio to identify any conflicts. Together we can review any alternatives (if suitable) and discuss if we should make any changes to how your investments are being managed.

    It may be that we take no action as a result of completing this assessment, but at a minimum, we think that defining your Sustainable Investing parameters and reviewing your current investments will give you a new level of knowledge and awareness on how well your investments align, not only to your investment goals, but your personal sustainable values as well.

    For those interested in performance as a primary factor

    Dear {Client Name}

    In recent years there has been a rise in the number of people considering the environmental, social and ethical impact of their investments. Mounting evidence is suggesting that incorporating ESG (Environmental, Social and Ethical) factors into the investment process can lead to better long term returns, help you preserve capital, as well as help identify the industries of the future.

    Whilst this type of investing is in its relative infancy and there are never any guarantees, we feel that having the ability to incorporate these factors is increasingly important. At a minimum, it gives us the ability to ensure that we are meeting your strategic financial objectives, whilst not infringing on any of your personal sustainable values.

    As such we are currently trialing new software that for the first time gives financial advisers the ability to consistently and accurately assess our client’s Sustainable Investing parameters. With access to institutional-grade ESG (Environmental, Social and Ethical) research on 100,000 global investments, we’ll be able to assess your current investment portfolio against your profile, identify conflicts and research alternative investments.

    As part of our ongoing reviews, I’d like to invite you to complete a Sustainable Investing profile.

    We think it could be an immensely valuable exercise and will give you a new level of knowledge and awareness on how well your investments align, not only to your investment goals, but your personal sustainable values as well.

    Let me know if this is of interest.
